What is ActNow Consulting?

How does B Corp work?

B Corp is a green badge for good firms. It is given by a group called B Lab. To get it, a firm must pass strict tests. The tests look at how the firm treats people and the planet. Firms fill out the B Impact Assessment. This is a free tool they use online. It scores the firm in five areas. These are Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. A firm needs at least 80 out of 200 points to pass. The full process has three steps. First, a gap check. Then a document review. Last, a call with B Lab. ActNow has helped many firms pass B Corp. In 2026, B Lab brought in new rules called B Corp v2. These rules cover seven topics. All new firms must now meet the v2 rules.

What is Carbon Literacy training?

Carbon Literacy is a one-day class. It is run by the Carbon Literacy Project. This group is a UK charity based in Manchester. It was set up in 2013. The class teaches the basics of climate science. It covers where carbon comes from and what it does. It also shows real steps that people can take at work and at home. More than 80,000 people have taken the class around the world. To earn the Carbon Literacy badge, each learner must make four pledges. Two pledges are for work. Two pledges are for home. ActNow runs this class for teams. It lasts three hours. It can be online or in person. Each group has six to twenty people. All learners get a badge from the Carbon Literacy Project.

What is ESG reporting?

ESG stands for Environment, Social and Governance. ESG reports show how a firm treats the planet, its people, and the rules it follows. Firms share these reports with buyers, staff, and public groups. In Europe, new rules called CSRD came in force in 2024. They say big firms must share audited ESG data each year. The UK has its own rules too. These are called SECR. ESG reports cover many things. Some key items are carbon, water, waste, staff health, and board set-up. Good ESG data helps firms win work. It also helps them get green loans and hire top staff. ActNow helps clients with all parts of ESG reports. The firm uses two main sets of rules. These are GRI Standards and ESRS. Every report is written in plain words.
