Travel by B Corp Collective — Working Group on the New B Corp Standards
In late 2025 and early 2026, I was invited by Rachel Parsons and the What If Department to join a working group of certified B Corp travel companies, all members of Travel by B Corp and preparing for recertification under the new B Corp Standards v2.
This was a practical, working group with the aim to get to grips with the areas of the new Standards that were unclear, complex, and/or open to interpretation.
Our role as B Corp Consultants was to help translate the standards into something usable. That meant answering technical questions, working through evidence requirements, and supporting discussions on how to apply the standards across real-world, often complex supply chains.
Over a series of fortnightly sessions, the group worked through key challenges, shared approaches, and built a clearer picture of what “good” looks like in practice.
By the end of the process, the companies were in a much stronger position — more confident in their approach, clearer on expectations, and better prepared for recertification.

These help with stakeholder identification and prioritisation and due diligence on human rights and environmental impacts throughout a company's operations and their supply chain.
