About this policy
This policy explains how ActNow Consulting Ltd uses cookies and similar tools on this website. We keep their use to a minimum.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Similar tools, such as local storage, save small amounts of data in your browser. They help a site work, remember your choices, and show how the site is used.
How we use them
We only use cookies and browser storage where they are needed. That means making the site work, remembering your choices, or measuring how the site performs. We do not use them for adverts, and we do not track you across other websites.
What we store
We use a small amount of browser storage to remember your display choices, such as light or dark mode. This stays on your device and is not shared with anyone.
EcoPigs carbon measurement
This site uses the EcoPigs badge to measure its real carbon footprint. It sets no cookies. It uses two small browser-storage items: ecopigs_min (remembers if you minimised the badge — functional) and ecopigs-seen (distinguishes first-time from returning visits so carbon figures reflect browser caching — measurement). It records technical page-load data (bytes transferred, device type, timings); it never records page content, keystrokes, or form input. IP addresses are truncated before storage and never stored in full. It honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control — if enabled, no measurement occurs at all.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you control or delete cookies and stored data in their settings. You can block them, delete them, or ask to be warned before they are saved. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site work. See your browser's help pages for more.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will show on this page with a new date.
